Clementoni puzzle missing pieces? Find the right codes and request route

A rejected code can mean you have entered the product code where the batch number belongs. For a UK enquiry, start with Clementoni’s current assistance page, gather both codes and expect a request for a complete replacement puzzle rather than one matching tile.

Start with the current assistance page

Clementoni’s English assistance page has the request form and lists UK customer support. Before applying, the company asks you to finish the puzzle, search for the missing piece and check the delivery address carefully. The page says another shipment will not be made for an incomplete or incorrect address.

Put the box beside you before opening the form. Keep a photograph of the puzzle and the packaging in the same folder as your request confirmation. This gives you a useful record if support needs more information.

Batch number and product code are different

On small screens, scroll the table sideways.

Batch number and product code are different
What the form asks forWhere Clementoni says to lookWhat to record
Batch numberInside the box, on the inner face of its bottomThe complete printed code, keeping letters and digits in order
Product codeOn the packaging near the barcodeThe product code shown there, separately from the batch number
Product nameThe puzzle packagingThe title or description and the stated piece count

The assistance page has separate code-location illustrations beside these fields. Compare your box with those illustrations; do not substitute one code for the other or invent a batch number.

If a correctly copied code is rejected, save the error wording and a clear photograph of the code. Ask UK support to identify the right entry rather than repeatedly trying altered versions.

What the replacement service covers

Clementoni’s puzzle FAQs describe a complete bag of pieces, with no need to identify the position of each missing tile. The stated service covers puzzles from 500 to 13,200 pieces. For a puzzle bought more than five years ago, ask customer support about availability.

The same FAQs give an estimated six to eight weeks, with longer waits possible. If the design is unavailable, support may offer a puzzle of the same type and size. The assistance page makes replacement of the same puzzle conditional on availability. Neither page provides an individual acceptance or delivery guarantee.

Plan for a complete replacement. Clementoni’s replacement-puzzle guidance explains that cutting dies change over time. It suggests comparing an assembled corner of the new puzzle with the original to check the size and cut. A tile from another copy is not assured to fit.

Send a clear request

  1. Confirm the puzzle is complete apart from the apparent missing pieces and make one final search around your work area.
  2. Copy the batch number, product code, puzzle name and piece count into a note.
  3. Choose the missing-pieces request in the current form and describe the issue briefly.
  4. Check your name, email and full shipping address before sending it.
  5. Keep the confirmation and any reference number. Use that reference for a follow-up instead of starting a second request.

No box, a gift or a second-hand puzzle?

The pages checked do not establish acceptance for every gift, used-puzzle or missing-code situation. Explain your circumstances to the UK support contact on the assistance page and ask what evidence they need. Do the same if your puzzle falls outside the stated piece-count range. Do not assume a second-hand purchase qualifies simply because the form opens.

The helpdesk’s August 2023 ticket guide confirms the batch-number location but links to a legacy form address. That address redirected to the English storefront during this check. Bookmark the current assistance page above, which contained the form.
